This is the best meatball recipe ever. I did not have onion soup mix. I used instead 1 packet of the Good Seasons Italian All Natural Salad Dressing & Recipe Mix instead. These meatballs melt in your oral cavity. I had also added ii slices of torn white breadstuff soaked in milk squeezing the milk out of the bread then calculation information technology to the meat mix. The meat was very moist and sticky so I had basin of warm h2o to dip my easily to make the meatballs. Every other meatball recipe I tried was dry and had no gustation this is wonderful. Total marks A++++. Thanks for posting this recipe.

Wonderful and so like shooting fish in a barrel. I was looking for a meatball recipe that doesn't require browing the meatballs outset. This hits the spot. I mixed upwardly a triple batch and baked several cookie sheets of large meatballs and and so several with smaller meatballs. I froze them individually on cookie sheets and then put them in Freezer Numberless. They freeze well and taste great!

BEST. MEATBALLS. E'er. Seriously! All the other reviews are right! Very simple to make, cooked perfectly, and these are the type of meatballs you lot volition consume before they even make it to the sauce pot, I ate iv straight out of the oven. I made them exactly equally the directions called, no alterations, and if you wanted to, yous could add more spices or whatever your taste calls for, merely they are perfect simply the way they are.

A very unproblematic recipe, I added ii tablespoons of mustard, ketchup and worchester sauce to give it more kick. Refridgerate the meat mixure for 3 hours and then make the assurance, they will be easier to handle and a bit firmer. Thank you Julie62

Wonderful. I made these a couple of nights ago for my boyfriend and for my mom. My boyfriend absolutely loved them, said they were the all-time meatballs he'd ever had. My mom just praised them! I made ii dissimilar batches. One with basis beef/pork mixed together (for boyfriend), and ane with ground turkey (for my mom and I). They were both tasty, moist and only plain delicious. The just divergence in my opinion (I snuck a little taste of both), was that ground turkey meatballs seem to fall apart more than and easier. I used fresh grated Romano cheese (was what I had). I made some sauce on the side for those who wanted, but mostly everyone just wanted the meatballs all alone. So with a salad and some garlic bread...it was a scrumptious dish. Thank you.
08/04/2009
Mmmm so skillful and easy to brand! The only affair I changed is that instead of dry onion soup mix I used italian dressing mix for some extra flavour. Information technology was and then yummy, I'll only make meatballs with this recipe from now on!
08/07/2009
These were FANTASTIC! I made a few minor changes but I'chiliad sure the basic recipe is terrific as it is. I substituted sausage for i/three of the meat and cooked them as directed, took them out of the pan and drained them, then put them back in the pan. I mixed a can of regular foam of mushroom soup with a can of beefy mushroom soup (Campbell's) and a can of sliced mushrooms, and then poured that over the meatballs and popped them dorsum in the oven for about xv minutes until the sauce was bubbly and brown around the edges. I served them over buttered egg noodles, and my married man (clever wit that he is) said, "Wow, these are delicious! Think yous can call back how you made them?"
05/22/2009
I used footing pork that I got on sale for the ground meat. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly. They were excellent. Very moist, yet firm. I ended upwardly with nigh 5 dozen meat balls, freezing about half of them
05/xi/2009
I've never tasted a improve meatball in my life. They are moist and tasty, I can't look for dinner so I tin can take some more than
05/24/2009
I was skeptical - but I had all the ingredients and decided to try it. REALLY GOOD! I did use ground turkey and had to use more than bread crumbs to make it easier to coil into balls. I will definately make again.
10/06/2010
Excellent flavor! I used cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup(information technology is what I had on mitt) and ground turkey. I made a gravy with one can each of beef eat and cream of mushroom and i can drained mushrooms. Poured over the cooked meatballs and baked for approx 20 minutes (until bubbly). Served over noodles. Wonderful! this is a keeper!! Thanks for the recipe!
05/21/2009
Wonderful recipe! The meatballs are so juicy and moist! I used extra lean ground beef and was worried they would exist dry, but I think the cream of mushroom soup really makes it! Very tasty!
12/19/2010
These are very good meatballs! Even my kids were snitching them off the baking sail considering they liked them and so much. I have fabricated them twice now, once every bit written and once without the cream of mushroom just with some milk and extra seasonings and they were delicious both ways. I will definitely exist making these again!
04/05/2011
Made this for dinner and I will have to say I have 2 boys that are very hard to please and they loved the meatballs, I was in shock. My husband also loved them, he fifty-fifty said they were meliorate than his Mothers..large compliment, she is a fantastic melt especially Italian. I fabricated this recipe equally information technology was I simply cut the portion in half and added salt, pepper and minced garlic..will definitely make it again!
01/26/2011
Very simple and yummy! This was exactly what I was looking for. My picky eaters loved information technology. I made a double batch and froze the residuum. So happy to accept found this recipe!
ten/01/2010
These are easy to make and amazing! For anyone who wants just a good quondam meatball like grandma used to brand, no light-headed ingredients! I was only able to become 2 before my swain and family scarfed up the rest!
01/01/2011
Squeamish and meaty only not mushy
07/14/2010
I finally got a take a chance to try this recipe and it was only perfect. I made it exactly then that I could rate information technology adequately. They were moist, non likewise spicy or bland...just right. Not having to fry them was even meliorate...no mess! I used Reynolds no stick foil (this is a great baking tool..nothing sticks), which I utilize for all baking at they just slid correct off. My hubby can be such a hurting with meatballs being just right. Many we fifty-fifty ordered out are just hunks of meat and no flavour. When he tried these, he said "who's meatballs are these?" and I said they were a recipe I found. He said they were great and that's all that counts...that we enjoyed them. I didn't even tell him there was mushroom soup in them since he says he doesn't similar mushrooms...even though he said he's never eaten them. This recipe fabricated so many that I even have enough for 2 more meals in the freezer. I also gave my neighbor some since she works late and would be able to but estrus and eat...she loved them and thanked me then much for giving her such a delicious meal and for thinking of her.
01/22/2011
these were great! didnt do anything different. They would become great with spaghetti sauce or merely over rice or potatos! Thanks for a swell little recipe Julie!
09/01/2010
These were just as amazing as the reviews say. I made mine a scrap likewise big but cooked them longer and they turned out amazing. I would dear some ideas for a sauce go with these. They don't seem like they'd go with a lycopersicon esculentum sauce. That all being said-they are great solo. Succulent!
11/22/2010
Awesome- made enough for 3 meals. Loved to broil them. Be sure to turn them over after 15 minutes-or they get crusty and scorched! I forgot the parmesean cheese and they were not bad. we fabricated spaghetti tacos with them
06/xx/2010
Best versatile meatball recipe ever. I don't need to search for another. I made these as written. The key to tender meatballs is non to work the meat too much. I mixed all of the dry ingredients together and added it to the meat, lightly mixing with my hands. Then I added the eggs and cream of mushroom soup and lightly folded them in. I now have 6lbs of them frozen.
03/06/2011
I love these meatballs and and so does my family! My young man is very picky nigh cooking at home and he loves these, and gets mad when I make them because he tin can't finish eating them! He doesn't like Mushrooms so I substituted the mushroom soup for onion soup and information technology tastes great! My 5 year old girl loves them too. I also like the fact that I don't have to fry these in oil, and I put them on a rack so the fatty drips off. Delish!
09/07/2010
These were very yummy. I used ground turkey and they notwithstanding turned out wonderful. I added some dried italian herbs. Would eb 5 stars but at that place seems to be something missing in the taste. I freezed the residue and pull them out to make a quick pasta meal now.
08/31/2010
Simply fabricated these... followed the recipe and realized I didn't have the onion soup mix. I subbed a dry out brown mushroom gravy parcel. They meatballs were awesome directly out of the oven! Thanks for sharing!
09/09/2010
I thought these were very tasty, however nosotros used turkey to make them and they were and then mushy. I also cut the recipe to 1 pound of meat and adjusted accordingly. I will make them over again, just not with turkey. Also, with just 1 pound information technology served all five of us with some rice... and so 6 servings with 3 pounds of meat would brand huge servings! I'd say it feeds closer to eight or 10.
07/20/2010
Merely loved these meatballs! Very like shooting fish in a barrel to set and I had all the ingredients already in my pantry.
10/13/2012
My family unit devoured these! The first fourth dimension I made them, I followed the size that was indicated on the recipe. They were really yummy, just fell apart more than I would take liked. The second time effectually, I made them nigh half the size and they didn't fall apart and they as well had a ameliorate texture - a footling more than crispy/solid and not too soft.
08/29/2010
My girls helped me set up. Peachy teamwork thought with your kids! (5 and 6 years)
09/xiv/2010
Tasty petty meatballs that were non too dry, not too moist, just correct.
12/02/2011
WAY also heavy on the bread crumbs... It was like filler. I will make again, but cut the breadcrumbs in half.
05/16/2010
Fabricated these and made Meatball Nirvana at the aforementioned time and did a taste test. Meatball Nirvana won. They had and then much more flavor.
08/16/2010
These meatballs were great! Will definitely be making these once more. Good flavour and good texture.
09/19/2011
This was elementary and used upward items I unremarkably keep in my pantry. Information technology didn't telephone call for a sauce and then I used some more soup diluted with some milk to make ane. I served this with buttered parsleyed egg noodles. This was practiced and filling and Dh is taking the leftovers for lunch tomorrow so it's worth a repeat.
05/03/2011
Incredible! If you lot do not dear these meatballs something is incorrect with yous! I did modify merely a bit because i LOVE hot Italian sausage. I wanted to double the batch but only had 5 lbs of meat and it still turned out fantastic. I froze them for several future meals.
04/26/2011
YUM!!! These are actually good! My new meatball recipe! Had to do a few subs.. 2 # gd beefiness, one # pork sausage; and had to use italian seasoning mix, merely otherwise used recipe as stated. Delish! Kids loved it! Will use many times once more!
07/sixteen/2011
I have my ain recipe for italian meatballs merely wanted another meatball version to serve with brown gravy and noodles. This is the one! It made a lot of meatballs - I got threescore from this recipe so a lot went into the freezer. My picky 7 twelvemonth old loved these and even asked me to save the leftovers for his breakfast the side by side solar day. Thanks!
08/fifteen/2011
The base recipe was skillful only i made the following changes. I used 2 lbs grd. bf and 1 lb sausage. Instead of onion soup mix, didnt have it, i used minced onion flakes. I used corn flake crumbs and gluten free mushroom soup. Volition definately make again.
05/07/2010
These were a big striking on New Years!!!
06/29/2011
These are fantabulous. I added a tsp. of garlic powder and some pepper. They were a big hit.
08/sixteen/2011
Family Really Enjoyed!!! The meatballs were very moist, and had a not bad flavor. I added onions, and bell peppers to my meatballs.
x/22/2011
It was very good. I didn't like the sound of the ingredients, but they came out really skilful. The merely alterations I used were a lot more beef and added some grated veggies. I managed to bundle iv large two person meals out of my batch. (I used about v lbs of beef)
03/01/2010
I merely made these meatballs, and didn't have foam of mushroom soup, so I used cream of chicken. I also did not have dry onion soup mix, and then I used a packet of McCormick toasted onion & garlic seasoning. They are now baking in the oven, and I cannot wait to try them after reading and so many wonderful reviews!! I will definitely study dorsum later on dinner to allow everyone know how they turned out!! BTW, I absolutely Dear this website. Best COOKING WEBSITE EVER!!!! ****OK.... I have to say these meatballs are NOT very good!! They didn't necessarily taste bad... but they were INCREDIBLY MUSHY in texture. I merely used 1/ii of a tin of foam of craven soup, instead of the whole can in the recipe, AND, I broiled mine for 45 minutes as suggested past other reviewers instead of thirty. Notwithstanding, they were mushy, and they were still mushy the following day when I idea they may be proficient for meatball subs. I will brand these over again, and omit the creamed soup.
07/22/2009
I don't similar meatballs. I really don't like anything with ground beef in general. These were Amazing! I literally said "Wow" when I tried them even though I was standing lonely in the kitchen. I accidentally used condesned mushroom soup instead of regular mushroom soup, then they were moist and had a slightly stronger mushroom flavour without falling apart.
06/23/2011
Admittedly succulent! The picky manfriend approved and now requests them regularly.
02/21/2010
These are the Best meatballs I've ever had! I made the recipe as suggested. I used 90/10 basis sirloin and fresh shredded parmesan. I noticed some reviews complains of a mushy consistency so I baked my meatballs for closer to twoscore minutes. They were crispy (not burnt) on the outside and moist (not mushy) on the inside. My hubby is usually not a fan of meatballs only loved these. Also, my picky toddlers gobbled them up. The recipe yields 36 golf game ball sized meatballs, but I got well-nigh threescore golf-ball sized meatballs out of the recipe. I froze about ii dozen to enjoy down the road. TRY THIS RECIPE - YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
06/14/2009
Incredibly good! My boyfriend still raves about them weeks later.
09/27/2011
These meat balls are super good, with beef gravy over the top or by themselves. I did non see any reason to tweek them, they were great without changing a thing. Thank you, for the great recipe, everyone loved them!
08/31/2012
Very tasty and easy to brand. I left out the Parmesan cheese and added some garlic powder and pepper. I ate a couple right out of the oven, they are so adept. I had plenty left and froze them individually and and so put the frozen ones in a freezer bag. thanks for the great recipe.
07/22/2011
This hits the spot every time! Great condolement food! Serve with Alfredo and Pasta! Shhhooooo practiced!
03/07/2012
I have to say these are the nigh flavorful meatballs I have ever made! I even used ground chicken! These were perfect over egg noodles and served with a sage foam sauce. Thanks!
05/xviii/2011
Very good meatballs! I brought these to a party, and hardly had any leftovers! I might add together more spices next time, just overall I thought these meatballs were delicious!
12/26/2011
Smashing meatballs. I used the good seasons italian packet instead of the dry onion soup mix. makes 48 meatballs. Loved past all
05/28/2009
tasted pretty expert merely a little as well soft for meatballs.
12/23/2011
Perfect! This recipe is just correct. Anybody loved these meatballs and I will probably always make them like this. I simply have one note and that is I suggest once or twice during cooking to use a baster and suck out some of the grease that will first to fill upwardly the pan. This will vary depending on how lean y'all buy the beef of grade. Only the flavor was awesome you lot could serve them alone.
02/14/2010
My kids, and husband could non get enough of these. I cutting the recipe in half with the wonder of the all recipes converter, and they were perfect. We have had these twice in 1 calendar week. I did not have the dry onion soup music, so I put some minced onions, and other herbs, with some bounding main salt. We ate these with pasta and my red sauce, yum yum yum.
01/07/2012
Actually good! I didn't haveonion soup mix on hand so I added minced onion, beefiness burgoo granules and a packet of Italian salad dressing mix. Delicious!
01/21/2010
Perfect; moist, simple to set up and cook....didn't alter a thing.
10/22/2009
Very delicious. I served them with rice and some gravy. Wow. YUM.
01/31/2010
Made exactly as written and turned out simply wonderful. My husband stuffed himself on these to the signal of pain. I fabricated them with a cherry-red sauce, salad and staff of life and froze the residue. Thanks and so much, awesome recipe.
02/08/2010
Fantastic! Like shooting fish in a barrel and one of my i year erstwhile's favorite finger foods! We have these with spaghetti and rice with Cream of mushroom gravy.
02/28/2012
Actually fantastic. I used ground turkey instead of beef, which required a little more of the staff of life crumbs and parmesan to get to the correct consistency. They turned out delicious and this is the only meatball recipe I'll employ from now on.
01/19/2010
Outstanding meatballs! Incredibly easy and some of the best I've tried. These meatballs do come out a fleck soft, merely I recall that'southward just gustatory modality preference. If you lot like them more business firm, I would try using less egg.
01/02/2012
No i in our family really cared for these. They are very soft and even tho very flavorful, we don't care for the flavor. I take had worse only I have had much better. I had an awesome meatball recipe years ago and lost it. My son said he doused them with BBQ sauce and they were much better. Everyone has different taste tho and thanks for sharing. Tunz of people dearest these.
11/06/2011
Amazing! We loved these - the simply matter I did differently than the recipe was added minced onion and used about 1/2 pound sausage to finish up the entire amount of meat needed. Served over mashed potatoes and brown gravy, pan fried asparagus and hawaiian rolls. I used an water ice cream scoop to help me keep the meatballs all about the aforementioned size. I cooked 16 and froze 16.
x/03/2011
Wouldn't change a affair! Wonderful!
01/12/2010
OMG!! I made these at my brother's house for New years eve political party and it was a major hit. Anybody asked raved about information technology and my sis-in-law asked for the recipe. I omited the onion soup and used the iv season itallion packet one of the reviewer recommended. Cheers for the recipe!! this is a keeper!!!
02/fourteen/2010
These were very easy and yummy! Will make again.
04/22/2010
this is the all-time meatballs we have eaten. My family loves them. The 3 lbs of meat makes ALOT of meatballs. My toddler couldnt finish eating them. Thank you for the recipe.
04/21/2010
I made these for dinner. I didn't have parmesan cheese then I omitted that but they however turned out wonderful. I have 5 kids and they all loved them. This is a not bad recipe and information technology was very quick and easy to make.
01/27/2012
This was my showtime stab at making meatballs, and wow, they were delicious!! My hubby and our guest loved them. Had to use regular breadcrumbs and add together Italian spices, and onion dip instead of onion soup mix (realized later on starting that I didn't accept the onion soup I idea I did). In whatsoever instance, they turned out fantastic. Will definitely be returning to this recipe when the time comes for meatballs!
02/07/2010
easy and tasty! Thanks!
08/23/2009
I made this recipe exactly. I thought they were really yummy and had a prissy flavor. The texture was a little soft, I would similar a more than firm meatball. We ate them two ways for dinner. Some of the family wanted subs and some of the family wanted them with mashed potatoes and gravy. I think they were improve matched for the mashed potatoes and gravy. Volition brand once more!
04/16/2012
Best. Meatballs. E'er. I accept tried other, inferior meatballs and I'g sticking with these! I followed the directions exactly (I actually measured stuff!!) with the exception that I used basis sirloin instead of beef, because I got an awesome deal on it. Other than that, everything was to the letter of the alphabet. We were planning on making meatball subs with these, but just ate them straight off the pan instead. These were easy, succulent, and bully the next solar day for luncheon. Thanks to you from my hubby, equally he can finally retire from being my meatball guinea pig!! I will most DEFINITELY exist making these again! I have to add together that I accept made these again and again, even so following the recipe to. the. letter. Rarely does a breadstuff nibble get measured in my household, but for these meatballs, the measuring cups make a much-needed appearance. I've also taken to making a double batch, freezing half of them on a cookie canvas, then transferring to a freezer bag. Then I can just pop them in the oven for more meatballs whenever I want (which will probably coincide nicely with the day I run out of the first batch of meatballs!)
03/14/2010
too heavy
11/21/2011
Excellent!! Best meatball recipe. Very simple to follow. Followed the recipe exactly. I always get tons of compliments when I make these.
10/27/2009
I have had these meatballs hot, cold, in spaghetti, and with gravy over rice--they are ever fantastic! I usually mix in some crushed crackers with the bread crumbs, and about a tsp of dried parsley; they never disappoint! The only matter I would recommend is to plow them once halfway through cooking because they form a little fat "brim" around the lesser, which tin make them less visually appealing.
01/11/2010
Absolutly LOVED these meatballs! The merely things I did dissimilar was increased cheese to 1/two loving cup and added pepper. They were tender and flavorful. For those who thought they were not firm plenty, I advise not stirring or simmering in sauce. But plop the hot meatballs on whatsoever you are serving and pour the sauce on top! Onion lovers might need the extra onion taste and sight of fresh chopped onions, but I didn't. Loved them just the mode they were. And then easy without doing any extra preparing. Bask!
12/20/2014
Great recipe! Piece of cake! No changes needed!
04/17/2010
Absolutely delicious correct out of the oven!! Now I don't desire to serve with sauce & spagetti equally I'chiliad agape the taste of the meatballs will exist concealed. Thanks for a great recipe!
01/13/2010
The taste was really proficient. But, they do take a flake of a mushy texture. I used half a can of mushroom soup to see if that helped. Only, it didn't so my adjacent judge is peradventure the bread crumbs requite information technology that texture? Anyways, season is great..texture is a bit off.
03/28/2010
OMG! Sheer heaven. We all stood around and ate them as finger food! My husband and I originally put some in a handbag to freeze and the kids complained because they idea we only made a few. We had to pull them dorsum out and so they concluded upwards eating almost all of them. TOTALLY Crawly RECIPE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10/16/2009
I'm sorry to say that these meatballs were not moist at all, they were quite mushy. I am normally a fan of baked meatballs, and I've tried quite a few recipes, this existence my least favorite. I followed the recipe to a T, and they just came out very mushy, not sure if it was the soup or too many eggs. For my second tray I added some stuffing mix to effort and salvage the meatballs, this made them ok, but all the same non great. Will not be making once again.
x/30/2009
Oh my gosh these are sooo yummy. I didn't accept onion soup mix then I just used diced onion and two tbps of italian seasoning. Also used 2 egg whites and 1 egg. I will definitely exist making these again soon.
01/24/2012
Sooo E-Z to mix up quickly! I didn't take Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs so just subbed i/2 tsp. of Italian seasoning to the mix. Other than that I followed the recipe exactly with g results. I made a bunch and froze them a dozen to a bag. Now I have instant meatballs in a wink!
11/22/2011
No changes....Only complaint.. Zero leftovers! Calorie-free gustatory modality and sooo easy to make. Put this one in the definitely make again folder!!!
03/03/2015
I tin't believe that I have never reviewed this! I dearest this recipe and brand it all the time. I freeze them in meal portions and so I can add them to boring spaghetti or I'll even make Swedish meatball sauce and serve over mashed potatoes. bang-up recipe!
01/07/2015
This recipe is a gem! So glad I came across it. The meatballs came out absolutely delicious! The only thing I did differently was that I used footing turkey and added actress breadstuff crumbs. And then flavorful and yummy! I like that it's baked and the recipe doesn't call for browning them in a pan first. I will definitely add this to my monthly meal rotation. Y'all can't go wrong with these ??
01/17/2012
These were incredible! For extra season, I smoked them instead of blistering them and the flavour blew me away!
10/27/2009
These are admittedly delectable! I made one-half the batch and kept mine in a bit longer to get a trivial more than crunch. The inside was moist and the exterior crunchy. Besides that everything was to the measurement. They went wonferfully with spaghetti squash and sauce! Thank you for sharing such an Fantabulous recipe!!
02/24/2010
My husband ended up making these equally I got held up at work and not only were they easy to make just very tasty!! He took a couple for the guys at work and they said information technology was the best meat ball they had ever had!!
03/02/2010
I reduced the recipe for one lb. of meat for two servings. It fabricated 12 meatballs and iii generous servings. I did not have any foam of mushroom soup, so I used bluish cheese dressing instead. Yum! All other ingredients were used following the original recipe. I will make this once again and may also contain the ingredients for meatloaf.
12/xvi/2011
I doubled the recipe and took these to a company Xmas party. There wasn't a unmarried one left uneaten. Delicious!!! This is my permanent recipe for meatballs. Thanks for sharing Julie62.
03/25/2012
I fabricated half of a recipe co-ordinate to all the directions and we idea the meatballs were succulent. Instead of making the smaller meatballs, mine were larger, and served over rice with a mushroom soup gravy. Color was needed, so we had broccoli. Delicious meal.
x/02/2011
Fabricated these with ground turkey and they turned out a piffling mushy. Information technology definitely needed some texture to it so next time I will add some chopped onion, carrot and perhaps some parsley. Otherwise, the flavor was great. I likewise love how easy it was to prepare!
01/06/2010
I make most the same meatballs, but endeavour adding raisons. They sweeten the meatballs, and proceed them moist, plus neat for calculation fe to the sauce that they're cooked in. Peculiarly great for kids who won't consume the meat, only only the sauce. The raisons fortify the whole sauce with iron. Try information technology, you might similar it!!
01/20/2012
The best meatballs I've ever tasted! Froze the leftovers and used a month later; even so tasted wonderful!
04/20/2010
There is nothing everyone can do to make this recipe whatever better. Make it as is and you volition empathize why.
04/21/2010
i thought these meatballs were delicious... i stuffed myself.
